John Dietz is the CEO and Co-founder of Konstruct, an open source company dedicated to making cloud native platforms accessible to organizations of all sizes. He simultaneously serves as Director of Enterprise Cloud Solutions at Civo.
Professional Journey
John's entrepreneurial spirit emerged early. At age 22, he bootstrapped Integrity Test Solutions, a software and services company he led for 19 years. This foundational experience in building and scaling a business from the ground up would later inform his approach to creating developer-focused products.

Gannett / USA Today Network (2017-2021) As Platform Architect, John led transformative initiatives including:

- Transitioning from .NET to Node.js technology stack
American Systems Performance Engineer focusing on system optimization and reliability.

Founding Kubefirst
In 2021, John and co-founder Jared Edwards began building Kubefirst during nights and weekends. Their goal: solve the problem they had witnessed repeatedly across enterprises—Kubernetes adoption taking 18 months or longer.
After a year-long stealth enterprise pilot, they open sourced the project onto the CNCF landscape. Kubefirst was acquired by Kubeshop in 2022, and subsequently by Civo in 2024, where it continues to grow as the foundation of Konstruct.
